  Mossie is a gifted tour guide. As a fairly new Irish citizen, Mossie gave me a profound sense of the history of our Republic including the dreadful famine and workhouses... read more for the poor. We experienced the awesome beauty of the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. I especially appreciated Mossies enthusiastic and convivial nature. He explained the folklore of the people; we saw scenic villages and did some hiking. He more than met my expectations. We laughed, he sang and recited poetry. He's a native speaker which vivified his explanations and gave us insights into Irish culture and soulfulness. I have greater appreciation for the current ways of life and values of Irish people knowing more about the painful and turbulent history. I can see why my ancestors had to emigrate. My advice is to treat yourself to a tour with Mossie Scanlon and if you're lucky, his lovely partner Helen Higgins too.
