In conversation he learned both couples had anniversaries while in Ireland. During a visit to a church ruin he presented a bouquet of heather to each couple and shared the tradition of loved ones touching their finger through the hole in the Ogham stone. It is a cherished memory of our trip.

Mossie even showed us where he was born (one of 13 children), so he knows the area and culture like the back of his hand. What makes him unique, aside from his proclivity to sing irish folk songs, is the perspective he has given from travelling the world for 30 years before coming back home. He picked a great place for our lunch, stopped at off the beaten path locations, and was extremely knowledgeable about the colorful plant life amd archeological treasures as well as the history of Ireland. If you have a chance to take a tour with Mossie, do not miss it.

Our tour with Mossie in the Dingle Peninsula was the highlight of our trip to the west coast of Ireland! The private half-day tour was worth every penny. Mossie was... read more so easy to communicate with -- he picked up right away to arrange the details of our tour, and was flexible with our start-time when we were running a little behind schedule. Mossie took us to places we simply wouldn't have been comfortable driving to on our own - he is a safe driver who is confident on the rather treacherous one-lane roads in this region. You can tell Mossie really enjoys giving tours - he wants to show you the best time possible (and is happy to capture all the beautiful moments for you on your camera!) Outside of seeing the most beautiful places in the area - spending time with Mossie was the best part of all! Mossie is a kind warm person who instantly makes you feel like old friends.
