In conversation he learned both couples had anniversaries while in Ireland. During a visit to a church ruin he presented a bouquet of heather to each couple and shared the tradition of loved ones touching their finger through the hole in the Ogham stone. It is a cherished memory of our trip.

We weren't disappointed! While the Dingle Peninsula is unquestionably stunning, it was Mossie who made our day. He was so kind, charming and warm. I felt we were in the company of a friend or family member; not just a tour guide. When we return again on family holidays in the future, we'll certainly be rebooking. Booked a tour for 4 in advance with Mossie (the price of which is much better than some of the bigger companies). The day of the tour arrived and the... read more weather was initially poor, Mossie turned up at the agreed time and place and suggested we could either go ahead or wait a few hours and see if the weather lifted. We decided a to wait, a few hours later Mossie rang us back and collected us from the centre of Dingle and we completed a very enjoyable and memorable half day tour where Mossie gave us some fascinating insights into the history and culture of the area.

Mossie's passion for the people of County Kerry is incredible. Mossie even showed us where he was born (one of 13 children), so he knows the area and culture like the back of his hand. What makes him unique, aside from his proclivity to sing irish folk songs, is the perspective he has given from travelling the world for 30 years before coming back home. He picked a great place for our lunch, stopped at off the beaten path locations, and was extremely knowledgeable about the colorful plant life amd archeological treasures as well as the history of Ireland. If you have a chance to take a tour with Mossie, do not miss it.
