We... read more started off with a beautifully misty hike up Conor Pass and then proceeded to tour around the area listening to Mossie's wonderfully engaging stories and stopping off at various locations for short walks and explorations. It was a perfect way to get to know the area and learn about Ireland. Mossie is a gem and we all felt so lucky to be able to spend with him learning and laughing along the most beautiful roads we could ever imagine. If you have the chance to tour Dingle Peninsula with Mossie, don't hesitate! We will be back to Dingle and will most certainly reach out to him again!

He took us through the Slea head drive and made plenty of stops for us to enjoy the scenery and explained the history of the area. He was incredibly funny and kept us entertained the entire time. If I had the opportunity to do this again, I would definitely book the all day tour as our 4 hour tour was over in a flash. Thank you Mossie for the experience of a lifetime. I felt we were in the company of a friend or family member; not just a tour guide. When we return again on family holidays in the future, we'll certainly be rebooking. Being a native of the Dingle Peninsula, he is intimately familiar with all the beautiful sights and the best places to see. He showed us so many stunning vistas and then never rushed us as we explored them and took pictures. He led us on a short and exhilarating hike not many people know of, and patiently guided us over the challenging areas. His humor, his love of music, his kindness and warmth, and his generous spirit made us love Ireland all the more.

We experienced the awesome beauty of the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. I especially appreciated Mossies enthusiastic and convivial nature. He explained the folklore of the people; we saw scenic villages and did some hiking. He more than met my expectations. We laughed, he sang and recited poetry. He's a native speaker which vivified his explanations and gave us insights into Irish culture and soulfulness. I have greater appreciation for the current ways of life and values of Irish people knowing more about the painful and turbulent history. I can see why my ancestors had to emigrate. My advice is to treat yourself to a tour with Mossie Scanlon and if you're lucky, his lovely partner Helen Higgins too.

I particularly loved Gallarus Oratory, Kilmalkedar and some sites associated with the famine. The scenery is beautiful. Mossie has a beautiful voice which was wonderful to hear as this was the only time I got to hear Irish music on my travels in Ireland. This is a not to be missed tour,
